D&H WINS 11/TIES 3 OUT OF 16 CATEGORIES IN ASCII'S 2014 DISTRIBUTION SURVEY

For the 6th Year in a Row, D&H Leads a Majority of Categories such as Ease-of-Doing-Business, Accurate and Timely Shipping, Knowledgeable Reps, Quick Issue Resolution and More

HARRISBURG, PA - February 5, 2015 - D&H Distributing, the leading North American computer products and consumer electronics distributor, is proud to announce it is has won 11 and tied 3 of the sixteen categories in The ASCII Group's 2014 Distribution Survey, which was compiled in November of 2014. The survey is a result of responses from 100 of the group's members, mostly consisting of small business resellers. Members were asked to rate a selection of ASCII distributors according to criteria that affects their level of satisfaction. D&H topped more categories than any other broadline distributor in the survey, for the sixth year in the row, comprising every year that ASCII has conducted the survey.

D&H Distributing led the following categories among ASCII partners in the survey:

  • Convenience of warehouse locations
  • Shipping and handling charges
  • Ease-of-doing-business with sales reps
  • Timely shipment
  • Ease-of-doing-business with tech support
  • Website ease-of-use
  • Ease-of-doing-business with credit department

  • Knowledgeable and helpful sales reps
  • Post-sales support (tie)
  • Pre-sales support
  • Product availability (tie)

ASCII's COO and Senior Vice President Doug Young and its Chairman and CEO Alan Weinberger presented D&H Distributing's Senior Vice President of Sales Jeff Davis with an award commemorating the win on February 3, 2015. The presentation took place at the D&H corporate headquarters in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Young and Weinberger were accompanied by representatives from three local ASCII reseller companies and D&H customers: Alan Feldman of Virtual October (York, PA); Joe Wright, Jr. of Central PA Technologies (Columbia, PA); and Ryan Bowman of Esh Computer Center (Gap, PA).
