– The D&H Team Welcomes Two Industry Veterans and Creates New Customer-facing Position, Assembling a Dynamic Team Focused on the Consumer and Retail Markets –

HARRISBURG, PA - September 5, 2017 - D&H Distributing, the leading North American computer products and consumer electronics distributor, announces a series of new personnel appointments in its consumer electronics and home entertainment divisions. Changes within the team are designed to strengthen D&H’s internal focus on the consumer/retail side, meeting the expanding needs of this customer base. The company has added Trevor May and André Lalande in leadership roles in its home entertainment division. Other enhancements include an additional personnel position created to manage customer onboarding.

Trevor May: D&H’s executive director, vendor management, May has more than 20 years’ experience in the consumer electronics industry. May helped a major consumer retail chain found its computer products department and oversaw sales and merchandising activities across that organization, encompassing laptops, desktops, tablets, iPads, cameras, gaming, and headphones. He has maintained relationships with existing D&H partners such as HP, Toshiba, Dell, Lenovo, and Samsung.

André Lalande: D&H also welcomes André Lalande as the new senior director of HE sales. Lalande previously served as director of corporate alliances with URC (Universal Remote Control). He has held high-level positions overseeing strategic sales, business management, and marketing projects with companies including Lutron Electronics, Philips Consumer Electronics, and Nortel. His career spans more than 20 years in the US and Canada, in leadership roles across the retail, home, consumer electronics, business development, and corporate communications disciplines, and with expertise in areas such as home automation, smart devices, broadcast cable, and telecom carriers.

John Alifano: Long-time D&H employee/co-owner and former director of HE sales, Alifano has been appointed to the new position of senior director of customer acquisitions and special projects. Alifano will manage all aspects of new customer onboarding. Bob Careless: Bob will continue to manage the distributor’s housewares business, which includes the company’s growing small appliances offering.
