Executives Are Recognized by This Leading Civil Rights Organizations for Their Support of Human Rights Through Their Contribution to the Consumer Electronics Industry

HARRISBURG, PA - October 20, 2015 - D&H Distributing, the leading North American computer products and consumer electronics distributor, is proud to announce that both its co-presidents, Michael Schwab and Dan Schwab, are being awarded the "Torch of Liberty Award," recognizing them as outstanding consumer electronics executives, bestowed by the National Consumer Technology Board and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).

The award will be presented to the Schwabs at the ADL's 2015 National Consumer Technology Dinner, November 7, 2015 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York, NY. The Torch of Liberty Award is presented annually to outstanding citizens whose work has helped enhance their industries and communities.

Michael Schwab and Dan Schwab are the second generation of D&H executives to receive a prestigious award from the ADL and the National Consumer Technology Board. D&H CEO Izzy Schwab, father of Michael and Dan, was presented with the organization's "American Heritage Award" in 2006. The Schwabs are in fact only the second set of father and son executives to receive such ADL/National Consumer Technology Board accolades.

Established in 1913, the ADL is the nation's premier civil rights/human relations agency. It combats all forms of bigotry and promotes diversity and high regard for human individuality. These goals are addressed through outreach programs conducted through a network of regional offices.
