HARRISBURG, PA - November 9, 2016 - D&H Distributing, the leading North American computer products and consumer electronics distributor, is enhancing its training offerings in the server category with a new webcast taking place on November 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. ET, offered through its renowned Solutions Lab online training venue.�??�?�  The presentation, "Windows Server 2016: Robust, Secure, Cloud-Ready" will help resellers and MSPs become more familiar with the latest server solutions from this pioneering manufacturer. The presentation will explore the advantages of Windows Server 2016 in assemble a scalable, versatile IT infrastructure that will accommodate both on-premises and cloud-based workloads, allowing organizations of all levels to cost-effectively implement whatever level of technology works best for their business models.

In addition, D&H is offering a seminar conducted by a Microsoft representative on the Windows Server 2016 platform at its Fall Mid-Atlantic Show taking place November 9 at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center in PA.

The training are the latest elements of D&H's long-term support for resellers selling end-to-end server solutions to the SMB marketplace. D&H's server sales initiative gained momentum in 2015 as Microsoft ended support for its Server 2003 solutions. The distributor's trainings, combined with supporting resources such as server-based Partner Service Marketing brochures and accessible, server Solutions Specialists, helped D&H's customer base take advantage of a major opportunity to offer upsell full server network refreshes to SMB companies. Many of these resellers were able to grow their businesses with turn-key sales that included back-end system add-ons such as CRM, back-up and disaster recovery, security, and storage.

The momentum continued into 2016 for D&H and its reseller base, resulting in impressive year-over-year sales growth in this category. For example, sales of Microsoft's Windows Server NOS alone at D&H saw an increase of 7% over Microsoft's fiscal year quarter 1 of 2017 (July 1 to September 30, 2016) as compared to the same period last year. D&H's total server sales for Fiscal Year 2016 saw an increase of close to 10 % overall, which also included powerful solutions from partners Lenovo and HP.
