- Attendees Can Build Their Own Agendas for D&H's New THREADcast Engagement, With Forward-thinking Keynotes on Remote Access, Security, Cloud, Collaboration, and Generating Profitability During the "Next Normal" -

HARRISBURG, PA - June 22, 2020 - D&H Distributing, a major provider of SMB and consumer technologies to the North American high-tech channel, announces it will host its latest THREADcast virtual conference focusing on innovation and opportunity in the wake of COVID-19's impact. This new THREADcast has extended its content across a two-day period to accommodate the scheduling needs of our partners as they navigate the reopening of the business community. It includes a preview day and keynote on June 24, plus two additional keynotes and content from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET on June 25, 2020.

The engagement will include industry-leading authorities, D&H executives and subject matter experts, discussion panels, and technical sessions that explore the future of IT and managed services at this unique point in our history. D&H partners can visit www.dandh.com/THREADcast/ to register, and to view the event's full schedule.

Participants can build their own agendas, cultivating content to fit their own needs. The all-virtual event will feature live-streamed keynotes, including from D&H Co-presidents Michael Schwab and Dan Schwab, focusing on D&H's forward-thinking strategies for supporting SMB partners as the market quickly evolves. Additional THREADcast keynotes will be presented by Jay McBain, principal analyst at Forrester Research; and Larry Walsh, CEO at the 2112 Group. Their topics include generating revenues in the new normal, and post-COVID considerations for SMB IT, respectively.

"D&H has done a terrific job of aligning relevant, indispensable content to help solution providers determine the best course of action in these unique circumstances," said Amy Thomas, senior account manager, M&A Technology, Inc., who attended D&H's initial THREADcast event in March. That offering was one of the first channel-wide virtual events to be hosted in response to the COVID-19 lockdowns. "Reestablishing the business community's technology infrastructure is a great responsibility. We appreciate knowledgeable and proactive partners like D&H, who are working with us to help prioritize our offerings, fine-tune our strategy, and facilitate recovery in the channel as swiftly and effectively as possible."

Throughout the two days of the THREADcast, D&H and manufacturer subject matter experts will explore areas such as remote access, collaboration, security, updates on D&H's Cloud Marketplace, next-gen servers, new cache technologies and more. Vendor-based scheduled sessions will be presented by Cisco, HPE, Intel, and Microsoft. There will be solutions-oriented panels plus technically-oriented content similar to D&H's "how-to" webcast trainings. "Premium Channels" will also be available on-demand from AMD, APC, ASUS, Brother, Cisco, Dell, HP, HPE, Microsoft, NETGEAR, and Samsung throughout the schedule.

The THREADcast offers incentives for partners who view the live content on June 24 and 25. For instance, D&H partners who register for the live sessions will receive a THREADcast "Swag Box" sponsored by Microsoft, Intel and Dell shipped directly to their homes. Attendees of the 4:00 p.m. ET Intel training track on this manufacturer's new Optane high performance memory technology will receive ITP training credits. Participants can take part in a Q&A following each live presentation. And partners can win one of more than 30 giveaways during D&H's fun "Break Time Trivia" games via the THREADcast platform on Thursday, with winners announced during that day's 2:00 p.m. seminar.

"In order to diligently support the channel, we must focus on opportunities as opposed to uncertainty, with an emphasis on resilience and agility in facilitating the 'next normal.' It's within our power to educate partners on the best way to help their end-customers rebound, working together to bolster a vital SMB community and bring about a more satisfying outcome for the channel," said Jenn Walcott, vice president of marketing at D&H. "The objective is to proactively help our partners deliver the solutions, services, and expertise to take back the marketplace, focusing on the inevitable technology opportunities that arise amid--and sometimes even despite--great challenges. Our THREADcast arms partners with the resources they need to proceed with that recovery."
