D&H DISTRIBUTING ADDS CISCO SOLUTIONS TO ITS CLOUD MARKETPLACE INCLUDING WEBEX, UMBRELLA, AND STEALTHWATCH

- Cisco's Top-Tier Collaboration & Security Products Can be Bundled with Hardware & Peripherals, Allowing MSPs to Offer Customized Packages via an Intuitive Self-Service Portal -

HARRISBURG, PA - June 15, 2020 - D&H Distributing, the major provider of SMB and consumer technologies to the North American high-tech channel, announces it has added sought-after cloud solutions from industry pioneer Cisco to the distributor's Cloud Marketplace. The offering will allow partners to bundle Cisco's managed services solutions with hardware, software, and services; plus features a tiered pricing structure. These elements make it simple for partners to create comprehensive, secure, and customized packages for a range of SMB end-customers in different verticals.

The agreement with Cisco includes this manufacturer's flagship Webex Collaboration platform, its Umbrella layered security solutions, and its Stealthwatch cloud-based network visibility and threat detection solutions. The D&H Cloud Marketplace is a comprehensive digital commerce platform that allows partners to purchase, provision, and invoice an extensive selection of cloud-based services through a single, intuitive interface.

For example, D&H will offer a Cisco-based collaborative "Meeting, Teams, and Calling" bundle built around their Webex solution, which can include hardware and peripherals such as VoIP phones, branded headsets, and accessories to accommodate an effective, turn-key videoconferencing package. Similarly, partners can assemble a secure "remote worker" package consisting of laptops, an associated Umbrella contract, Webex licensing for Meetings, Calling and Teams, plus add-ons like laptop cases and surge protectors. Bundles can include either Cisco-branded or third party computing hardware, creating tailored packages with a click of a mouse.

The Cloud Marketplace portal accommodates manual quoting, ordering, and automated contract modification, allowing the reseller to choose product combinations and quantities and finalize their orders through a straightforward, self-service process. Partners can accommodate different end-customer budgets through the tiered pricing structure, which they can also easily select right on the Marketplace portal.

Compelling Cisco Solutions via D&H's Consolidated Portal

Cisco's WebEx service has emerged as a main platform to accommodate the massive work-from-home mandates of the COVID-19 crisis, facilitating billions of meetings since social distancing was implemented. Cisco is now offering a bundle consisting of the Webex Meetings, Teams, and Calling solutions with a very competitive pricing structure. The solution, called Webex Work, will serve as an anchor for various collaboration bundles, including videoconferencing, distance learning, and telehealth applications.

Cisco's Umbrella solutions allow partners to deliver layered security services through the Cloud Marketplace platform, including sophisticated device protection. Umbrella makes sure that all web traffic on a designated device passes through Cisco's powerful DNS servers, where it's monitored for harmful content as specified by the Umbrella administrator. MSPs can easily accommodate new devices into their end-user agreements, since the D&H portal automatically adjusts associated contracts as devices are added or removed.

The Stealthwatch solution monitors the end-customer's internal network, leveraging machine learning to detect malicious activity on an infected computer. The solution isolates the affected workstation and shuts it down before it can compromise the rest of the network. Both Stealthwatch and Umbrella utilize Cisco's Talos database, known as the world's most expansive repository of threat data and attack indicators.
