-New Online Tool Offers Visibility into the Most Frequently Viewed Products in Various Categories, Delivering Ongoing Insights to Support the VAR's Purchasing Decisions-

HARRISBURG, PA - February 27, 2013 - Ever wonder what products are hot at D&H Distributing? To that end, the distributor introduces its new "What's Trending" feature, an online tool which lists the most frequently viewed items on dandh.com, updated several times daily. Resellers can now see a roster of hot products in different markets at a glance. "What's Trending" delivers insights into shopping trends so resellers can make this information part of an educated purchasing decision.

The What's Trending list can be viewed on the dandh.com search results page; in addition to a dedicated "What's Trending" page, which can be accessed through the left hand menu on dandh.com's log-in home page. The list itemizes products according to four market divisions: Computer Products, Consumer Electronics, Video Gaming and Education. Results in each market division can be further refined to identify hot items in sub-categories. Listings include product information and pricing for each item. Refreshed throughout the day, the results provide intelligence on nearly a real-time basis. Such statistics can help resellers stay competitive in a rapidly evolving marketplace.

For example, on its debut afternoon, the What's Trending list showed that the Microsoft Office 2013 Home & Business suite was the most popular item in the Computer Products market segment. Resellers can also click on the "Desktop Computers" tab to the right of the What's Trending list to filter their results, revealing the Lenovo ThinkCentre M72e as the most popular item in this sub-category; and the Cisco 1U Rack Server was the hottest item in the "Server" sub-category. Similarly, a Microsoft Office 365 University Subscription topped the Trending list in the Education market segment.
