- D&H Once Again Ranked Highest in a Majority of Areas, Including Accurate and Timely Shipping, Ease of Doing Business, & Pre/Post Sales Support -

HARRISBURG, PA - April 11, 2022 – D&H Distributing, a major provider of SMB, mid-market, and consumer technologies to the North American channel, announces that it has once again won the title of "Top Benchmark Survey Broadline Distributor in 2021" in The ASCII Group's 13th Annual Distribution Benchmark Survey. ASCII's annual survey polled 150 ASCII members about their distributor preferences, asking them to rank their experiences with their distribution partners based on different criteria. D&H won or tied for the lead in 10 of the 17 categories, winning outright in nine and tying in one additional, which was an improvement over last year's standings. These results topped that of every other distributor in its class throughout the survey for the 13th straight year.

The survey revealed some interesting statistics this year, including the fact that product availability and elements like timeliness became more of a priority during the throes of the pandemic—when D&H supplied hundreds of thousands of devices and solutions to businesses, schools, and public organizations across North America. The distributor's wins in timely and accurate shipping are significant in light of this. Not surprisingly, "shipping and handling" was one of the most important criteria covered by the survey this past year, according to respondents.

D&H improved its scores in this year's survey in several categories compared to last year, including for Post-Sales Support—a key tenet of D&H's partner-focused strategy. The company made significant investments in support personnel in 2021, including an 83% increase in sales support, operations, and customer service associates. It added more than 150 new team members overall in 2021 and is currently looking to fill close to 90 more positions. D&H’s score in the survey also improved this year in the category of Ease of Doing Business with the Credit Department. The company added an estimated $375 million in monthly credit extensions for partners in its 2022 fiscal year, which ends April 30.
