HARRISBURG, PA - June 12, 2017 - D&H Distributing, the leading North American computer products and consumer electronics distributor, announces it has joined forces with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) to launch D&H’s “HERO” (Heighten and Elevate Revenue Opportunity) program. This new offering helps solution providers in the SMB marketplace grow their practices and increase sales of HPE’s business solutions. D&H’s comprehensive offering includes, but is not limited to, a series of on-demand training opportunities created by both D&H and HPE, technical and pre-sales support, dedicated D&H Solutions Specialists, tools such as an automated “iQuote” web-based function which includes an HPE Financial Services calculator, dedicated D&H Partner Services marketing materials, and access to a full portfolio of cloud-ready small business solutions including servers, storage, and networking products from Aruba.

D&H is driving this strategic initiative with HPE to help develop the SMB market. The program features a series of pre-recorded training vehicles designed to help familiarize resellers with the full portfolio of small to mid-size business server, storage, and Aruba networking solutions under the HPE umbrella, including Operational Services from HPE Pointnext. Topics range from the “HPE Fundamentals” of this vendor’s sales process and partner portal, to learning how to best leverage HPE’s “NextGen” simplified pricing program. HERO also offers tools for vertical markets and applications that have been successful for small business resellers. This encompasses support for E-Rate business via Aruba wired and wireless networking solutions that facilitate digital learning in the K-12 marketplace. Additional professional services provided through the program include wireless site surveys, “rack and stack” assistance, remote configuration, and IT e-cycling.

The HERO program evolved from D&H’s initiative to engage its SMB reseller customers and deliver the resources they need to grow. The specifics of this offering are based on feedback from a roundtable session comprised by HPE solutions providers. It focuses on a range of infrastructures, helping resellers better understand how to create sophisticated hybrid cloud and mobile networking environments, and allowing those VARs to capitalize on new opportunities.
