As its Reaches Fiscal Year-End for 2014, D&H Distributing Sees Accelerated SMB Sales over the Past Six Months, Supported by Growing Programs and IT Staple Categories

HARRISBURG, PA - May 6, 2014 - D&H Distributing, the leading North American computer products and consumer electronics distributor, announced it reached the end of its Fiscal Year for 2014 on April 30 showing double-digit growth. Since January of 2014, D&H has seen more than 20% increases in sales of small to medium-sized business solutions, underscoring the company's status as a go-to resource for the SMB channel. The distributor continues to focus on independent VARs who sell to the great multitude of smaller, regional offices throughout the country, many of whom have fewer than 20 employees--yet which account for close to 90% of the economy, according to estimates from various small business associations.

D&H attributes its sustained growth to new and ongoing programs crafted especially for VARs in the SMB arena. The company has enhanced its web tools in 2014 to include several new online resource pages, including an SMB "Make the Move from XP" page; and a separate page dedicated to opportunities in K-12 education due to government programs such as the Common Core Standards, and the ConnectED initiative. D&H is predicting the K-12 market to be an up-and-coming vertical in light of new these new developments, which call for increased use of technology in the classroom.

The company has continued to expand its Partner Services Marketing library, which adds three to four new, brandable templates per quarter, supporting key trends such as the ones mentioned above. In addition, D&H's Business Assurance program has infused the SMB VAR community with tens of millions of dollars in additional credit in the past year, supplementing the almost $110 million in total expanded credit the program has provided since its establishment in 2009.

For Fiscal Year 2015, the distributor is looking to a list of core categories for continued growth, expecting double-digit expansion of up to 20% in areas such as notebooks, desktops, tablets, networking solutions, server solutions, storage products and related accessories.
